Where it all began...

Giraffe Wholesale is a young, and going to be progressive company. It all started by accident during the summer of 2009 when our grandson "Adam" came on vacation to our Californian home,

Adam is 5 years old and before coming to the States, he had only had a couple of swimming lessons at his local swim school in Carlisle UK. His Mom was recommended by his swimming instructor to purchase a SwimFin, as this was the new revolutionary swimming aid being used by swim schools throughout the UK.

Here in Visalia, Adam apprehensively stepped into our pool with his SwimFin strapped to his back via two adjustable elasticated, velcro bands. Looking like a "Sharks' Fin" on his back, he clung to his Mom until he reached the other side. Coming back towards us, Mom let go and Adam managed to "doggy paddle" unaided.

By the end of his 2 week vacation. Adam was jumping into the pool and chasing his Dad with a water pistol, kicking his legs and laughing all the way.

We were so impressed by the results and the confidence Adam had gained in the pool, that we decided to get involved in promoting this new product and introducing it to America.

This includes swimming schools and clubs, non swimmers via promotional exhibitions,and now on our new SwimFin web site.
